Corporate Event & Function Photography Packages

I do many different genres of photography but most of what I do is corporate events, functions and weddings. This is very broad so I end up shooting birthdays, documentary stuff, product launches, etc, anything that needs a photographer to record the event. The price that I will quote you will depend on many things, such as the amount of time (or days) that the event will run for, distance travelled, and also any other extra services you’d need (studio setup for example). I don’t have set prices for this as every event is so different.  Below is an idea of the prices of my photography services here in Cape Town in 2026.

Budget expectation for Corporate Functions and Events:

Below is a table reflecting what you could expect to pay for my Event Photography services.  Every client’s needs and every event is different, so please contact me with the necessary information so that I can give you a definitive estimation of the cost.

What's Included in My Rates

  • For your corporate event, function or wedding you will get my undivided attention for the entire time that I am there. Before the shooting begins I will liaise with you so that I can get a better idea of what is going to happen that day and to learn what the important things are that I need to get a picture of.
  • You’re paying for the experience required to ensure that the pictures you’re getting of your event is exposed correctly, and has the artistic and technical quality required to fulfill your marketing and publication needs.
  • The final product will be delivered via a download link for ease and convenience. This is especially convenient for international clients who won’t be in town anymore by the time I am able to finish the editing and photoshopping.
  • My wedding clients get the same dedication and care that is included above, as well pre-wedding engagement shoots, second photographers, studio setup for photobooth and professionally printed coffee table photobooks.

The Photographer's Brief (Extremely Important)

I have learned over the years that most clients don’t realise the importance of creating a brief for their photographer and then presenting it to them.  It is very important that your photographer understand a little about your company and what the event that you’re hosting is for.

This could be communicated via a five minute conversation, but it’s much better that a paper brief be given to your photographer that contains a list of all of the most important information.

Give your photographer a Brief that contains the following information (Not as exhaustive list):

  • Date of assignment/event
  • Physical address of event venue, including link to Google Maps location
  • Name & number of contact-person with whom to liaise on arrival
  • Time photographer is expected to arrive and time that they should begin the shoot
  • Itinerary/schedule of events: time that speeches commence, dinner service, etc.
  • Important things to shoot: venue before arrival of guests, outside and surrounding of venue, caterers and service staff, cakes and food, anything that you want captured as well.
  • List of person/s who MUST be photographed making speeches or simply just socialising with guests..
  • List of group-portraits to be taken (groups of important people)

It is much better for you if your photographer has the brief with them on the day of the shoot that they can refer to throughout the day to make they get everything that you’ve asked for.  If they fail to deliver the product that you were hoping for then the fact that had a brief on the day means that the blame lies on them, and you’ll have a legitimate complaint.
